MISSISSAUGA, ON—Pronto Reproductions’ new headquarters is twice the size and provides much smoother operations. “The place that we had before was just so small,” said Thomas Burlington, project coordinator.
The company’s old Toronto digs was 7,000 sq. ft. and cramped with small rooms. “You know those older buildings,” Burlington said. “We had to knock down some of the walls and it still wasn’t the best-functioning. We had two ramps and an off-level loading dock. It was a logistical nightmare.”
Pronto moved into its new single-floor, 14,250 sq. ft. Mississauga home on Jan 3. With more breathing room for its machines and 12 employees, “this place is much more functional,” Burlington said. The company also replaced its Xerox iGen 3 with a new iGen 4 EXP. According to Burlington, the company is now looking to purchase a 40″ press.
Pronto Reproductions specializes in offset and digital printing, and offers full bindery services including saddle-stitching, finishing, perfect binding, scoring, and folding. Its range of clients include pharmaceutical companies and the Government of Ontario.
